Introduce Class Presentation

In the second half of the course, everyone will take a turn – in groups of 2 or 3 – to introduce the reading or the work of the day.

Your goal is to help students understand the work of the day – and launch a strong discussion. You should:

  • Introduce the reading/viewing of the day
    • Tell us a bit of background about the work and the authors (or filmmakers)
    • Share a short overview or summary of the story – adding reference to one or two key examples
  • Provide a few open-ended questions for discussion
  • Present this in an informal presentation in class – either with names and examples written on the board – or in a short powerpoint
  • Aim for about 5-8 minutes total
